| Other Information | Prior to 2006, the Illinois Board of Examiners issued certificates for passing the Uniform CPA Examination. Certificate holders were allowed to use the CPA title, but were restricted from performing attest services without obtaining a public accounting license from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
